RULES REWRITE
Alll the League Rules are being rewritten to improve clarity
and remove anomalies. Sections have been rearranged into a more logical
order and the text has been simplified wherever possible. In addition,
examples of a rule in practice are added where that is believed to be helpful.
Changes in the arrangement of sections and simplifications in
wording have no effect on the meaning or consequence of the rules. As
such, these overall changes will be submitted to the AGM for approval as a
single proposal.
However, from time to time during the revision, changes in the
intent of specific rules have been found to be desirable and each of these will
be submitted in the usual way to the AGM as an individual League Management
Committee proposal, and they will be voted on one by one.
No changes are made to the Men's Veterans League Rules.
